Boppin' With Beth introduces a new monthly series called Beth's Crate Digging Extravaganza. About once a month, we take you on a trip to a record store to find a record gem to really take a look at. This time, it's Jackson Browne's self-titled debut album from 1972! Hear 2 full songs, snippets of the other tracks and lots of history behind the project. Plus, there's covers of these tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Jackson 5, Joe Cocker, Brewer & Shipley, Penny Nichols, Karla Bonoff, JD Souther and Paul Thorn. Beth's Bop Of The Week is a new tune from Jake Thistle. Jammin' James Riley also has a song by Blue Stingrays (actually, members of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers...minus Tom).
