Living in the Orange County Bubble, many of us are unfamiliar with the personal and economic struggles that many (if not most) Americans face on a daily basis.

In my personal bubble I read that the market is great, but gas prices are up, and with those words I seem to feel that I have a grasp on our everyday economic state of affairs. Huh? It seems I have had my feet planted in mid-air. Did you know that very few Americans even have a meaningful investment in stocks. 93% of all stocks are owned by 10% of the population. And 80% of stocks are owned by old people.

So, gas prices DO matter, as does the cost of food and medicine and clothing and every single other thing that matters to most Americans. Did you know that some people in the OC are sacrificing medical expenses to pay rent or mortgage?

My question is where does that leave our young adults and our older single adults?

And that is what I talk about with our special and insightful guest, Wendy Hooper Ross—an unusually successful Real Estate representative who, post covid, experienced a kind of headlines to breadlines story… well maybe not exactly, but still...
