Manage episode 407491887 series 3561167
Create marketing relationships in your community through amazing community events! In this episode of Realestatable, Tiffany and Ashlee discuss creating engaging events that show appreciation to their clients and connect with the local community. Listen in for specific ideas for events and some tips to help make these big events fun for agents too!
Don’t Get Overwhelmed
Connect with other agents who can help you share the workload of putting on your event.
Involve local businesses as sponsors – this helps them get their name out there and gives you more swag or perks to offer community members.
Tiffany and Ashlee’s agency does agency-wide events, so all agents benefit and participate.
An Event Example - Easter Egg Hunt!
Their team will rent out a park and plan for a large number of attendees. Get a rough headcount using QR codes or other RSVP methods.
Tiffany and Ashlee don’t just give away candy – they stuff reusable plastic eggs with nonperishable items as well.
After the event, follow up using the contact information you gathered using the RSVP form or QR code.
Community Events to Come!
Tiffany and Ashlee have hosted many client appreciation events and they’re getting inspired to turn some of them into community events.
Be prepared to host bigger crowds for your community events – don’t just open your client appreciation events to the public without planning.
These events can be as simple as working with local coffee shops and buying people’s coffee for a couple of hours.
“You can have a three to four-touch system on how you’re following up, whether it’s an e-mail with a video that you’re sending out thanking them for coming. You can also text them that video. You can even expand that and do a pop-by immediately right off the bat… The energy is high… What are you doing to immediately capture their attention into that marketing relationship that you’re going to have with them?” – Tiffany Klusacek
“Something to think about if you’re trying to get your name out there is providing either reusable bags or plastic bags with your logo or branding on them. Especially for people who just come right off the street and they’re like, ‘What are you guys doing? We saw a big crowd.’ That gets your name out there, too.” – Ashlee Jankovich
