Heather Melville had almost gotten through the most important interview of her career when they asked her the question: “Why do you want to work for us?” Instead of taking the conventional route and listing her reasons or trying to sell herself further, she flipped the conversation entirely. “Actually, I think we should start this conversation again” she said. “You asked me to come and see you, so you really need to sell to me on why you think I should leave a job that I'm very happy in and come and work for you.”
This bold move was a defining moment which exemplifies Heather's authenticity and confidence - traits that have propelled her throughout her extraordinary career.
