You may believe that in order to achieve a balanced nervous system that’s able to adapt to it’s surroundings, then the things in your life have to be going smoothly. Like, of course you can have a balanced nervous system when your bank account is growing, your kids are behaving, your marriage is thriving, and your spiritual health is on fire. But the truth is… very seldom will you live in seasons where EVERYTHING is going smoothly. And even if things were going smoothly, if you are stuck in dysregulation… you will find things to feel overwhelmed about… we are going to talk about this and how stress is oftentimes happening on the inside (your internal state) than on the outside (what’s happening around you)..
