This week, Wayne Kimmel interviewed Eric Fisher, U.S. Editor for SportBusiness, on the SeventySix Capital Sports Leadership Show.
Fisher has reported on sports business for more than two decades. At The Washington Times, he covered the relocation of the Montreal Expos to Washington, D.C., the sales of the Washington Redskins (now Washington Football Team), Capitals and D.C. United, and wrote extensively on the development and enhancement of the city's stadiums.
He later joined Sports Business Journal where he reported on baseball, covered multiple labor negotiations, media rights contracts and stadium projects, as well as 16 All-Star Games, 15 World Series, and more than 60 MLB owners' meetings.
Fisher became U.S. Editor at SportBusiness in 2019 and is co-host of the SportBusiness Finance Weekly podcast, heard in more than 50 countries.
