Why is it important to remember our mortality? How can embracing our mortality help us live a more fulfilling life What can we learn from contemplating death? What are some practical ways to keep our mortality in mind? Tune in to find out!

Welcome to Stoic Spirituality, where I break down relevant concepts from books and abstract concepts I have thought about as well!

In this episode, we will explore the concept of mortality and why it's essential to keep it in our minds. We often try to avoid thinking about death, but by embracing our mortality, we can gain a deeper appreciation for life and live more fully. We will discuss the benefits of contemplating death, including increased gratitude, reduced fear, and a greater sense of purpose. We will also share practical tips on how to keep our mortality in mind, such as practicing mindfulness, reflecting on our values, and making meaningful connections with others.

This episode focuses on the 33 Strategies of War, which revolves around winning wars with strategy and without bloodshed. Listen in to hear other books I plan on analyzing and speaking about in the future! A lot of Robert Greene's content is based on the idea of grounded principles and a measured view of necessary principles to navigate the world around us. Books such as the 48 Laws of Power and The Laws of Human Nature have provided me a much more thorough understanding of patterns people exhibit and illustrations of character I wouldn't have visualized before. Robert Greene is my all-time favorite author as he shattered the illusion and immersion that I had of the world around me and gave me a more grounded view of the world.
