Negativity is a plague upon us, but where does it come from? What causes negative thoughts? How can we identify negative thinking patterns? What are the effects of negative thinking on our mental and physical health? How can we shift our mindset from negative to positive thinking? Tune in to find out!

Welcome to Stoic Spirituality, where I break down relevant concepts from books and abstract concepts I have thought about as well!

In this episode, we will explore the origins of negative thinking and the impact it has on our lives. We will discuss the various factors that contribute to negative thinking, such as past experiences, cultural conditioning, and cognitive biases. Additionally, we will delve into the ways in which negative thinking can affect our mental and physical health, including increased stress, anxiety, and depression. We will also provide practical strategies for identifying and shifting negative thinking patterns, such as reframing negative thoughts and practicing gratitude. By the end of this episode, you will have a deeper understanding of the roots of negativity and the tools you can use to cultivate a more positive mindset.

This episode focuses on Think Like A Monk, which revolves around calming your ego, letting go, and finding your identity. Listen in to hear other books I plan on analyzing and speaking about in the future! A lot of Jay Shetty's content is based on the idea of grounded principles and a humble way of looking at and living life. His podcasts and books have provided me a much lighter way of viewing the world around us and his reels he posts provide constant reminders and new insights to the world around us. Jay Shetty's book was one of the first self-improvement books I read and began a never-ending journey into bettering myself, so this book holds a special place in my heart.
