In this podcast, we delve into the Quranic references to the word "pig" and the prohibition against consuming pork. Allah mentions the word "pig" five times in five verses, and in four of these verses, He forbids the consumption of pork or any food derived from pigs. Furthermore, we take a closer look at the story of the people of Sabbath, as mentioned in Surah Al-An'am, verse 146, who were transformed into pigs as a punishment for their disobedience and neglect of religious obligations. This serves as a powerful reminder of the consequences of neglecting one's religious duties.
