NFL Week 18 Playoff Scenarios, Jim Harbaugh is Coming Back to the League & LeBron is Putting the Lakers to a Decision
Manage episode 351568588 series 2862024
On today's episode, Jason gets things started by previewing the upcoming Week 18 NFL slate. In the wake of the unfortunate injury to Damar Hamlin and the uncertainty surrounding the potential rescheduling of Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals, all signs point to the Kansas City Chiefs getting the top overall seed (and the first-round bye) in the AFC. In the NFC, it's looking increasingly likely that the New York Giants will sit their key players and essentially hand over the top overall seed to the Philadelphia Eagles. Guess we'll have to look elsewhere for playoff seeding drama this weekend. Later, J-Mac shares a little inside information surrounding Jim Harbaugh and his potential move back to the NFL. The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers appear to be the most likely landing spots for Harbaugh... assuming neither one can land Sean Payton. The billionaire owners of each franchise clearly want established guys so we could see something of a bidding war develop for Harbaugh and Payton. Finally, Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) joins the show to discuss LeBron James’ impressive play as of late. Both guys are hopeful that this incredible tear will inspire the Los Angeles Lakers front office to make a trade that might vault the club into legitimate championship contention, but neither is all that optimistic about it. Either way, it’s clear that the guys are probably higher on the Lakers’ on-court potential than Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss are.
