Alex shares how he got interested in real estate investing and bought into “guru” advice which did NOT serve him well! He dives deep into the compounding mistakes he made as a new investor including lack of focus and education and working with an inexperienced team. Alex discusses raising and losing private capital which lead to intense stress, difficult conversations, and severed relationships with friends and family. The silver lining is that Alex provides great lessons learned, advice, and closes with how he’s rebounded and built a nice investment portfolio!
