Today we speak with not only an Australian Football icon but also all all-around personality figure, Archie Thompson.
With a storied career in Europe and Australia, Archie also holds a world record for the most goals in an International Match, with 13 goals for Australia against American Samoa. His goal scoring feats also extend to scoring 5 in an A league grand final for Melbourne Victory in 2007.
With over 50 caps (and 28 goals) for Australia, including competing at two Confederation Cups, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, Archie has been there, got the t-shirt and has a lot of funny stories, let along pearls of wisdom to share.
