The exciting development of talented Tiger cub Maurice Rioli Jr is a hot topic of discussion on the latest episode of Richmond’s premier podcast Talking Tigers.

Richmond great Matthew Richardson outlines the impressive improvement in Rioli’s game this season, and tells why he has become such an important member of the Yellow and Black line-up.

Also on this week’s show, the TT panel highlight the individual player positives out of the Anzac Day Eve match against Melbourne, with particular attention paid to Jacob Hopper, Mykelti Lefau, Hugo Ralphsmith, Thomson Dow, Marlion Pickett, Nathan Broad, Tom Brown and Tylar Young.

The popular, new “Going Up the Country” segment spotlights a small Victorian town where the brother of an Australian Test cricketer was recruited from by Richmond.

In the “Spirit of ’74”, a young Mike Sheahan reports in The Age newspaper on the John Pitura saga hotting up, with South Melbourne going to extreme lengths to ensure its rebel star never pulls on a Richmond guernsey, despite the Tigers offering plenty of money and some players to the Swans in exchange for his services.

While in “Chief Watch”, ‘Richo’ reveals why ‘The Chief’ is filthy with a member of the TT team.

For all things Yellow and Black, tune in to Talking Tigers.
