Feeling lonely in your 20s can make you feel down, confused, and like you are doing something wrong. But is being alone really a bad thing, or are people just mean? This week, Aleya opens up about recent feelings of loneliness she's had, and how it was difficult to admit this to both herself and on the show, which led her straight to the self-help section of Barnes and Noble. She dives into why being alone has been portrayed as negative and shares a story about how she was called a "f***ing loser" for trying to go on solo dates. But as we talk more about this, we can see that being alone and spending time with yourself is actually really mf cool when you take the time to get to know yourself. As Aleya likes to put it, "Sometimes being alone is better than being surrounded by opps." She then shares different ways that you can get to know yourself. We then end this week with a Tease Me storytime and a question - "When should you plan the first date?" See you on the pod!
