Joseph McBride is an internationally recognized film historian who has published seventeen books, including acclaimed biographies of Frank Capra, Steven Spielberg, and John Ford, as well as three books on Orson Welles. McBride is a professor in the Cinema Department at San Francisco State University. Into the Nightmare, recounting his three-decade journey into the JFK and Tippit murders was published in 2013. He also wrote 'Political Truth/The Media and the Assassination of President Kennedy,' and has an upcoming book 'George Cukor's People: Acting for a Master Director.'

In this incredible episode, we discuss the other murder that happened on Nov. 22., 1963 of Dallas Police Officer JD Tippit. We re-create the crime scene and track Tippit's movements in the minutes before he was killed. Joe discusses his years of research on this murder. We discuss the witnesses and Oswald's innocence with regard to this crime.

Joe discusses the people in Tippit's orbit that connect to Jack Ruby. Was there an Oswald, Ruby, or Tippit connection? Joe goes in-depth on the Dallas PD in the 1960s.. Joe discusses the idea of Multiple Oswalds, Captain Westbrook, Austin's Barbeque connection, and the shadow of Military intelligence.
