In today's episode, I am speaking with Eva Medilek. Eva is a Certified High-Performance Coach, International Speaker, #1 Best-Selling Author, and Cultural Inclusivity Trainer. She has worked with men and women in the areas of personal development, leadership, inclusive intelligence, and mastering habits for success.

Eva has written a great book, The Intimacy of Race, which I spotted on her shelf the first time I interviewed her. This is such an important topic that I invited her back for a second interview. Boy was this one powerful.

As a white woman, I am often unaware of my own areas of privilege and am grateful to Eva for her voice, her willingness to share, and her lived experience.

Eva and I dish on:

  • Why people with white skin struggle to be allies
  • How listening, and asking the right questions can amplify the voices of people of color
  • Why it’s vital to support black businesses and ways to do that
  • One small thing you can do to "acknowledge someone's experience" as a person or color
