Awesome Black Dads wants encourage, educate, empower, and entertain black fathers in a way that inspires us to be the best version of ourselves. Today we get an opportunity to chop it up with Rwenshaun Miller founder and executive director of Eustress Inc., The mission of Eustress is to raise awareness on the importance of mental health in underserved communities allowing individuals to identify and overcome challenges to achieve a healthier and more productive lifestyle. Rwenshaun is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Mental Health Advocate and Social Entrepreneur. For so long we have been dismissive as Black Men about the status of our mental health and its time that we have more of these conversations in a way that we become more aware and more open to the fact that mental illness is a real issue. In this episode we talk about suicide, the myths of mental health, why just praying won’t work, some real solutions to managing or health and much more.
