#ThisWeekInHiphop Our first episode of "The Hiphop African" sees host Kibona Clark (Professor of Hiphop & African Studies; Howard University) chopping it up with the Grandfather of Hiplife, Ghana's Reggie Rockstone. This week she will kick it with South African conscious emcee Yugen Blakrok as they discuss "Lyricism in Hiphop" amongst other things. Catch it on Saturdays at 9pm. L.A.C.E. (Lyrical Ability Control Everything) is a South African-based Nigerian elite emcee who has lived up to his name since he burst on the scene in the early 2000s. He currently teams up with producer iLLgod on a new EP titled #TheLesserEvil that dropped a few days ago. Dope rapper Falz The Bahd Guy has the sophomore edition of his #TheExperience2 slated for June 8th 2019. The Nigerian legendary emcee, Modenine puts out a project where he teamed up with DJ/Producer Teckzilla (From The Str8buttah crew).
