Anime Awards Season Recap 2024

On this episode of the CaliConBlogCast, we recap the three major anime awards once again - Crunchyroll, Anime Trending, and Reddit - and talk about if this year might be the year we finally get some changes for the Crunchyroll Awards from the top down. Plus we discuss the Oscar win for The Boy and The Heron and ask if "anime won or Hayao Miyazaki won" and Matthew looks at the prospect of bringing back a bracket for the crew to re-evaulate.
Note: We forgot to go over Best Director for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards but at this rate you can kind of guess who won.
