This week's episode we unpack the issues important to SAG-AFTRA, the Screen Actors Guild, that they're striking about (with a little bit of WGA info sprinkled in) after multiple people sent me the Twitter thread Andrew Schulz posted - which can be read here:
https://twitter.com/andrewschulz/status/1682435983927549973
I break down his flawed thinking using (I'm assuming unintentional) misinformation on why the actors are striking and their asks about streaming, as well as giving more context to how we got here, how things worked pre-New Media, and give insight on both the creative and business side of the industry.
Whether you've stayed up-to-date on this labor dispute or are completely clueless to what's going on and/or how the industry works - this episode is for you!
