Karthika Vaidyanathan is a musician and a music educator. She runs a music school called Swarakshara. She is also a playback singer and her song Kankal Etho from Chithha movie is very popular and has won several awards. She is a disciple of renowned Carnatic Musician Bombay Jayashree and her student is actor Aparna Balamurali. In this conversation in two parts we talk about her work, her music and how she manages her personal and professional life being a single mother.
