The Federal City Brass Band, which Jari founded and directs, re-creates the 26th NC Regiment Band in performance and they have done extensive research into the music, uniforms, and history of the men who were in the 26th NC Band during the American Civil War. In this episode, we discuss the band's history, their service during the war, activities after the war, and the Federal City Brass Bands's reenactment activities.
