Facebook started as a platform at Harvard to rate the attractiveness of women. My desire to participate in new business systems led me onto the platform in its early days.From a personal standpoint back then there was a fear of missing out feeling. When I got on it that went away. The popularity contest to gain followers grew me in but not for that long.Setting up my personal profile was motivated by an experiment to use it as a business lead generation, community, and engagement system. It’s ran its course as a core of my strategy.I’ll share why it’s getting worse, what’s coming next, and how to evolve your business out of Facebook while at the same time staying engagement to meet new people.
