The book provided a behind-the-scenes account of the early days of the Trump administration and caused a stir due to its revealing and sometimes unflattering portrayal of President Donald Trump and his administration.
Prior to "Fire and Fury," Wolff had already established himself as a prominent media figure. He wrote for prominent publications such as Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, and New York Magazine, where he penned a column called "This Media Life."
