Michael Wolff is an American author, journalist, and columnist known for his work in the field of media and politics. He was born on August 27, 1953, in Paterson, New Jersey. Wolff has had a varied career, working in print, television, and digital media.Wolff gained significant attention and controversy with the publication of his book "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" in 2018. The book provided a behind-the-scenes account of the early days of the Trump administration and caused a stir due to its revealing and sometimes unflattering portrayal of President Donald Trump and his administration.
Prior to "Fire and Fury," Wolff had already established himself as a prominent media figure. He wrote for prominent publications such as Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, and New York Magazine, where he penned a column called "This Media Life." His writing often focused on the intersections of media, politics, and business, and he developed a reputation for his provocative and sometimes controversial style.Wolff has authored several other books, including "Burn Rate: How I Survived the Gold Rush Years on the Internet" (1998), which chronicled his experiences during the dot-com boom, and "The Man Who Owns the News: Inside the Secret World of Rupert Murdoch" (2008), which delved into the life and influence of media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
He was also chummy with Jeffrey Epstein. In this episode, we take a look at the Epstein schedule once again and where Michael Wolff fits in.
