On hour two of The FAN Morning Show, Brent Gunning & Sam McKee begin to tee up for this week’s Presidents Cup in Montreal. The duo discussed the report on how tough it will be to get in and out of the location and venue and their expectations for Team International to compete against the U.S.A. B&S table that for the time being to get back to some hockey talk. This time focusing on goaltending around the League with reports that the New York Rangers are willing to make Igor Shesterkin the highest-paid goalie in the League; what they think of it and what that would mean for the Jeremy Swayman situation in Boston with the Bruins, which leads to a discussion of goalie contracts as a whole. They get back into the Presidents Cup talk though, welcoming the host of the Fairway Rollin’ podcast, Joe House (24:46), for his take on the team golf event why he sees value in Team International and how a good start could maybe make it a closer event than people expect. The trio also hit on NFL and Jayden Daniels’ breakout on Monday as well as Vince Carter’s honouring by the Raptors.
