Colin Wright, who shedded a high-paying career early in his 20s to instead pursue the nomadic lifestyle, is a 37-year-old entrepreneur, author and public speaker, who currently lives in Milwaukee, WI. Before "settling down" recently, Wright used to travel to a new country every four months. For seven years, he lived in places like Argentina, New Zealand, Iceland, and basically any other place on the world map you can think of.

He is a man who is responsible for shaping so many of my worldviews today, and in today's conversation we discuss things he's learned from a lifetime of adventure. We talk about:

  • Why he wanted to a live a life of constant adventure, as opposed to planting his roots in one place and staying there (3:18)
  • The difficult decision to forgo a high-paying career in Los Angeles to become a writer and full-time traveler (20:08)
  • The real definition of minimalism (24:15)
