Hub City and Hotel Effect on NHL Teams Inside the Bubble

Now that the NHL Hub Cities have been announced, Brian says let’s get into “where they’re staying, what they’re doing, if it’s going to happen. . . “ to which Cam says “It’s gonna happen!” and then compares the NHL’s plan and the league's patience to the other major leagues’ plans. Brian eventually agrees, saying “Of all the team sports, the NHL has done by far and away the best job to potentially get this thing home and cooled.” The NHLPA votes on the new playoff protocols later today.

The guys spend some time ripping on Rudy Gilbert for his egregious behavior as an NHL coronavirus super spreader. Brian learns what a balaclava is and then launches into “hotel and hockey stories”. Cam learns about Mike Robitaille’s penchant for eating hotel room service leftovers in the hallways and finds a new reason to love the defenceman.
