Carrie Buck of the infamous Buck v Bell US Supreme Court case was the first in a long line of Americans who were involuntarily sterilized after the growing popularity of the practice of eugenics. That was in the 1920s. It's a practice that continued clear into the 70s and even so today. In this episode, we hear the story of Kelli Dillon who was sterilized against her will while serving a prison sentence.
The history of Black Genocide started many years ago, in Act II, Hyman tells the story of a man who was so badly publicly lynched that an entire celebrated the death of a man so egregiously that it captured the attention of the entire nation.
