Eric Hammer is a professor of economics at Hamline University. He received his B.S. in supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University. He worked as a supply chain planner in the chemical industry for 9 years before returning to grad school to pursue a teaching career. He has a wide variety of research topics which include the evolution of ownership norms in animals, the effect of censorship on voter turnout, and the endowment effect to name a few. In our discussion we dove deep into his research topics, the history of economics, differing economic models, and everything you can imagine when it comes to behavioral economics.
