I’ll bring you up to date on some separation in both the AL/NL wild card races, what division races are still in tact and who’s running away to a pennant? (34:01) With the second week of NFL preseason games on deck, there’s been some off field contract drama to unpack. Especially the Brandon Aiyuk saga in San Francisco. The front office said they want to keep the wideout, but also have a trade in place with the Pittsburgh Steelers? Do you want your player to stay? Why is there a trade package built as a backup? I have to add my two cents to this, as well as, the latest with Haason Reddick backing out of his word to report, where he’s holding out for a new contract from the New York Jets. Then Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb is also waiting to sign on the dotted line toward a new deal. When will all three sign and report as expected before the season commences three weeks from today? Also, Matthew Judon gets traded from New England to Atlanta for a third round pick. And Vikings rookie, JJ McCarthy is out for the 2024 having to repair a torn meniscus in his knee. (43:57) The NBA will release the 2024-25 schedule today. What possessed them to leak the NBA Cup schedule, starting on November 12 with Klay Thompson first visit to Golden State as a member of the Dallas Mavericks? Could someone please explain why? (48:15) UFC 305 will take place in Australia with a middleweight title at stake.
