After having her own difficult postpartum experience with inadequate hospital provisions, Eden realized the lack of support, products, and education around women's post-delivery recovery. She teamed up with friends with backgrounds in branding and marketing to launch Nyssa Care in 2018, with the mission to modernize feminine care across various life stages.

Eden discusses Nyssa Care's journey to bring postpartum products into the mainstream retail space and connect with women during pregnancy to better prepare them for the "fourth trimester." As postpartum recovery has been an unspoken and coded topic, educating consumers presented initial challenges. Eden shares how Nyssa Care overcame them through a diversified distribution strategy online and offline, while leveraging partnerships and brand advocates within the medical community.

The conversation covers the constant need for innovation and how an unexpected competitive threat in 2022 challenged Nyssa Care's business foundations. Eden reflects on the lessons around securing assets and relying on her support network during this "dark time." She remains hopeful for Nyssa Care's future focused on cementing hospital partnerships and continuing to design healthcare improvements for women
