This episode's interview is with Sue Nokes. She has had a long career as a top executive and change agent in Fortune 100 companies, including T-Mobile, Walmart, and AT&T.
Sue is also a member of Lipscomb University's Board of Trustees and other non-profit boards, a generous philanthropist, and a mentor to students in the College of Business through the Executives-in-Residence program.
She shares stories and advice based on her management experiences, including the importance of:

  • Securing buy-in from commitment not compliance
  • Building a culture where employees are given the proper training, information, and tools to do their job.
  • Remaining a humble student and understanding you can learn from anyone.
  • Being courageous enough to surround yourself with people that are smarter than you
  • Ensuring your actions line up with your words
