Mahrukh Inayet speaks to respected Film Trade Analyst and TV show host on the future of the Hindi film industry. Komal Nahta says that the industry foresees major challenges but adds that it will be temporary. He believes audiences will return to the theatres once this is over. Also sees October as the deadline for the bigger films like 83, Coolie No 1 and Sooryavanshi to decide on the release route they take. Komal speaks of the spike for OTT platforms but adds pragmatically that even OTT platforms need new content and for that shooting must start.
