Is it wrong for parents to hope their adult children might show a little care, interest or concern for them? Is it really asking too much of adult children to simply ask, “How are you, Dad (or Mom)?” That was the question Tina addressed on a group Q&A call back in 2019. And it’s no less relevant today than it was at the time. In this episode, you’ll hear the original recording in which Tina reads the question and offers her thoughts. On the other side of the recording, she adds some final thoughts on the topic. Reconnection Club members can listen to recordings of the monthly group Q&A calls in the members-only resource library. Click here to browse the Q&A Call Recording Archive. Note that those calls have since been replaced with Office Hours, and questions nowadays are always live. Also, the Guide that Tina mentions on the calls was an earlier version of her Reconnecting book. Members can discuss this episode in the General Discussion forum inside the Reconnection Club.
