Welcome back to the Saltworks! Is it really Season 3?! I’ve felt like we’ve miscounted, but alas– it truly is! We’re kicking off the season with your (and my) new favorite co-host Lindsay Stagg for a Topic Tuesday. Today’s topic: Walking in Seasons of Wilderness.
We hear the word ‘wilderness,’ and may even toss it around on occasion, but what do we really mean when we say this? Today we will talk through what wilderness seasons are, the lies we will encounter and may tend to believe about the wilderness, and ultimately, God’s truth about it all. We talk a lot about those wandering Israelites and dive into the text in Luke 4 about Jesus’s wilderness season.
In short? The wilderness is not a place of punishment but a place of purpose. We’re so excited to be back with yall, and we can’t wait to see what this season has in store for us. Hope you enjoy the episode!
