Dan was a founding member of the North Face Extreme Team with Scot Schmidt
Dan is the author of "30 Years in a White Haze" a book about ski bumming the world and skiing some of the most unique locations on Earth including the Berlin Wall, the Middle East, Yugoslavia, Romania, and more
