A long time ago, it occurred to me that music teaching is like going on a big treasure hunt. Always looking for that next tip, that next idea, that next nugget of gold, that next piece of the puzzle…but really all that time I was asking myself a question :

“What formula or steps do you take to get students from where you find them now to where they need to be?”

Everyone has one of these formulas, although they don’t always realise what it is. I now call them “frameworks”. It’s worth thinking about, so that you can share what you do with your students and colleagues and share it with intention so they’ll better understand. Life is full of questions and the most successful teachers are always solving the answers to the questions they ask! NOW is the time to get started!
