Tek & Prem welcome Rob Maaddi, AP Senior NFL Writer and MLB Hall-of-Fame voter on the Vetline. The Eagles kick off in Brazil versus Green Bay in just a few short weeks, and the Preseason is in full swing. There are interesting positional decisions yet to be made and some players have showcased their abilities well, while others certainly have not. Jalen Hurts and the first-team offense have not seen the field as the debate rages on regarding the implications of their absence. Vic Fangio's defense has been solid thus far against Baltimore and New England's Preseason rosters, but the regular season is a completely different beast to be tamed. The Phillies have bounced back from a horrendous July and early August to excite the fanbase once again. In consecutive wins they featured a Kyle Schwarber Grand Slam, a Weston Wilson cycle, and a Trea Turner walk-off hit. With Red October approaching, the optimism appears to be back in the clubhouse and amongst the fans.
