No strangers to Ireland’s buzzing live scene, Brand New Friend have been making waves with some incendiary live shows all over the island. Their honest indie-pop has taken them from sticky-floored venues to sold-out festivals, including Reading and Leeds, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Electric Picnic.

Brand New Friend released their debut album Seatbelts for Aeroplanes in 2018, followed by A Cure For Living EP, and now they are back with Grandstand, which was produced by Danny Ball (Blue Americans, Travi the Native). In this interview, Taylor and Lauren Johson discuss the making of Grandstand, upcoming live shows and lots more.
