Jon, Mike, and Tom discuss how much money you are worth, fiduciary tables, life insurance, a Mexican standoff versus a duel, the federal government being involved in healthcare when all other aspects of healthcare outside the military is at the state level, rising costs of healthcare, politicians running on healthcare as an issue, European healthcare models, government extending people’s lives to tax them longer, younger people health needs and risks, Hillary Clinton draining and injecting the blood of the youth, healthcare as a human right developed out of the nanny state, definitions of healthcare, why is there a need for government healthcare involvement, behavioral and occupational causes of poor health, group homes, locking people away, eastern holistic medicine versus western reactionary medicine, conspiracy theories and collusion in the medical industry, cash surgery hospitals, should we have government supported healthcare or insurance, the economy of healthcare, body shop work after wrecking your car, negative incentives to treat sicker patients, acute versus chronic treatment, pills and diet versus pills, the opioid crisis, multiple medical specialists now in the treatment process, consumerism as downfall of our society, communism solves all our problems, end of life care cost compared to healthcare cost over lifetime, population getting older, distribution of healthcare costs of a person's lifetime, cost of treating preventable diseases, firing squads, incentivising healthy behavior, sedentary lifestyle, playing versus watching sports, work satisfaction by field and profession, medical overhead cost increases due to non-providers, lack of transparency in medical costs, overcharging for medical services, job creation from medical insurance bureaucracy, healthy at every weight, proctologists and dermatologists and plastic surgeons, the body can be beautiful but most aren’t, rationing of healthcare, walking out in the woods to die, the free market, poor people, the time delay of medical conditions, the Catholic Church healthcare system and the Hospitallers, risk and insurance, Christopher Reeves, pay as you go cash basis medical service, WebMD diagnoses, smoking and drinking and exercising and eating right, proactive healthcare habits, self respiratory care, insulin manufacturer as a hot stock tip, physician medical school training process, Mark Cuban and the Cost Plus Drug Company online pharmacy as public relations after banning the National Anthem, government involvement has driven up prices as have lack of personal responsibility, physicians do not know how much their services cost, the Affordable Care Act, moving government supported healthcare at the state level versus the federal level to provide better choice and care, state level insurance regulations, and cats and dogs and Tom dying.
