S5 Ep 85: New month, new goals, same crazy ass 2020. We are 9 months into the year and listen, I don't know about you all but I'm more than ready for things to go back to normal but at this point, what's normal anyway? 2020 has been a whirlwind, from a global pandemic, the United States shutting down, to the unexpected deaths of prominent celebrities has really rocked the world in more ways than another. 2020 has been a mess!
In this episode, I talk about the recent passing of actor Chadwick Boseman, who lost his battle to stage 4 colon cancer after four year, on August 28, 2020. Chadwick, was responsible for bringing some of our favorite historical characters to life such as Jackie Robinson in 42, James Brown in Get on Up, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall and one of the roles that we will forever remember superhero The Black Panther as King T'Challa, Chadwick leaves behind a beautiful wife, whom we shall keep in our prayers.
On a lighter note, how are we feeling about these live virtual concerts and shows? Again, I'm ready for things to go back to normal, I miss crowd participation and the energy from fans. I'm ready to go to a live concert like yesterday, I'm still mad about Something in the Water being canceled, the ghetto!
