I wanted to talk to him about fracking, amongst the other climatic challenges facing desert communities. The climate is an alarming emergency that for most of the world is happening in slow motion. For some people though, who are responding with maximum and all-consuming urgency, it’s a constant firefight accelerating at a disturbing pace. Jimmy Cocking is one of these people.
