[This show is produced in Somali only; English caption of the show context is down below] This week on #TubtaNabadda, we continue our exploration of Somalia's cultural diversity by discussing the ways in which regional dialects and practices enrich the country's shared history and identity. Professor Salim Aliyow Ibrow and scholar Sayid Ali Abdi Sheikh of Somalia's Jiiddo community join us to discuss the rich cultural heritage of the Jiiddo people and the ways their distinctive traditions have always been practiced in Somalia. The guests also reflect on how cultural heritage is a source of information, inspiration and values passed from generation to generation. The programme is presented in Somali by Faiza Abdi and Mohamed Salad. Share your views by calling in your favourite radio station during the show today.
