Recent SMU graduate, Raleigh Dewan is the founder and managing partner of the NB Group, which includes social impact companies such as SteadiSpoon (a self-stabilizing assistive eating device for people suffering debilitating hand tremors) and The Sister Shaq Tea Company (A socially conscious tea company fighting human trafficking in our local communities).

Raleigh is an impressive young leader and we discuss what has been fueling his passion as an entrepreneur. Raleigh believes that Gen Zers are socially conscious and desire to make an impact. He encourages them to consider starting with their own local communities and to never be afraid to ask for help. If you are met with silence or don’t receive a favorable reply, keep asking. 'It's not always how, but who', as in who would be the best person to help.
