Ayonna Thompson-Bowen has her jersey retired at Mauldin High in Mauldin, South Carolina for Girls Basketball. She furthered her basketball career at High Point University where she states, "it was the best experience of my life." The owner and operator of A1Hoops has goals to make sure at least 25 young ladies go to college and earn a diploma while playing basketball. She is a mother of a 4-year-old son.
