A lot of people have said in the past that the key to happiness is not to expect anything from anyone.

As human beings, we all have this tendency to expect from others. And when those expectations are unfulfilled, we feel upset, angry, disappointed, or are taken aback.

But have you ever wondered, is it the expectancy that hurts or dependency on someone that hurts us more?
