The South African Policing Union says public sector unions are resolute on getting what is due to them from negotiations at the Public Service Co-Ordinating Bargaining Council. The latest wage talks have resulted in the introduction of a facilitator in the form of the CCMA or the Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration. Unions argue that the employer has not made an offer to employees and as such they have now gone back to their initial demand of 10% salary increase across the board.
