Nikola Kostic is a travel and documentary photographer and film maker based in Indonesia. Nikola moved to Bali in 1998 from his home country of Serbia and fell into photography when his uncle asked him to photograph some jewellery. He quickly found himself as a busy, commercial photographer as Bali transitioned from a sleepy island to a bustling tourist hotspot. Nikola’s work is incredibly diverse featuring portraits, food, dance, interiors, cityscapes, golf courses and much more. All of this experience pours into his latest project - making a documentary film about the construction of the first sustainable, zero waste island in south east Asia, which is being developed by his wife, a lady who also builds luxury yachts. I really enjoyed meeting Nikola - he’s such a passionate and interesting guy who is a great story teller and a fantastic photographer.
