Manage episode 281178791 series 1524591
Breaking Stereotypes is a project that I began to identify and raise awareness of females who are working within stereotypically male dominated fields, to expose the fact that they are just as competent as their male counterparts, but also to highlight the prejudices that they have to deal with on a daily basis. Whilst we are getting better at accepting the changing times, there is still far too many individuals and companies that are living in the past with respect to their views on who can and who can’t do a particular job.
This particular episode I linked in with photographer Natasha Lloyd-Vest from Denmark (not Norway as I mention during this episode), whilst she hasn’t had to deal with prejudices per-say, some of the advice she gives I thought was worth listening to and sharing on this platform.
If you are, or you know, of any females who would like to be part of this project i’d love to hear from you / them.

If you enjoyed this episode I would very much appreciate you subscribing to hear more like this, but also getting involved and leaving your thoughts, when a particular episode resonates with you. My main focus is all about sharing, so let’s start a conversation. But above all, be creative, be inspired, be you.
