In this episode, Jeff has a discussion with Will LoVelette, worship pastor of 4 Corners Church in West Chester, Ohio. Will is an inspiration to Jeff and the congregation with his positivity, leadership, and drive at 4 Corners Church in West Chester, Ohio. As Jeff explained in a previous episode, he is not a Jesus freak but has high respect for his pastors, church, and various teams that he relies on to help him stay on the path in his life. Jeff explains the power of community and that it is helpful and meaningful in helping him as a husband, father, leader, and be a better person to everyone in his life.
In this episode, Jeff and Will talk about how community and relationships are needed to get the help we need and how to go about finding that help. Don’t be afraid, we are meant to be with others and can’t do things by ourselves. “Don’t let one bad experience prevent you from giving it another shot. We are human and can’t be “All” always, just get started,” says Pastor Will LoVelette. He advises taking the next step and watching how one step after another creates life in that area. Don’t be a hearer, be a doer, and know that the path may not be straight and that endurance produces toughness and grit.
Will also advises on being optimistic about opportunities as a leader. He explains his role as a leader and gives advice to the listeners about their leadership roles. One of his favorite sayings is “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”.
